The Microsoft side of your business
Licensing is where most businesses quietly overspend, and where the protections they already own sit switched off. We start by looking at what you actually hold.

Three pages, one licence bill, and a lot that hangs off it
Microsoft 365 looks like a small part of this site and is quietly the foundation under most of the rest of it. Your 365 identity is what signs people in, so it is what multi-factor authentication and conditional access attach to. It is what Copilot reads. It is what a password vault authenticates against. It is what has to be backed up separately, because Microsoft does not do that for you. Get the 365 side right and four other things become straightforward.
Why we start with an audit
Two things are almost always true when we open a tenancy for the first time. There are licences being paid for that nobody is using: staff who left, plans that were upgraded and never downgraded, duplicate subscriptions from a provider change. And there are protections already included in the plan that have never been switched on.
Both are money. One is money going out for nothing; the other is money already spent on security sitting idle. We would rather find those before quoting anything, because it frequently changes what we end up recommending, and occasionally the answer is that you are on the right plan already and just need someone to administer it properly.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over the Microsoft 365 tenancy we already have?
Yes, and that is the usual starting point. You keep your tenancy, your data and your domain. What changes is who administers it and who you ring. We audit what is in there first, because tenancies that have been through two or three providers tend to have accumulated licences, accounts and permissions nobody can account for.
Do we buy licences through you or direct from Microsoft?
Either works and we will tell you which suits you. Buying through us means one bill, local support, and someone who notices when you are paying for seats nobody uses. Buying direct is perfectly reasonable too, and we will still administer it. What we will not do is push you onto a plan you do not need to make the margin work.
Do you handle not-for-profit and education pricing?
Yes. Microsoft grants and discounts for eligible not-for-profits and schools are substantial and routinely missed, because the eligibility process is tedious rather than difficult. We handle the paperwork. See licensing and our not-for-profit work.
Do you support the applications, or only the licences?
Both. Licensing is the boring half. The useful half is that when Outlook is misbehaving, a shared mailbox will not open or someone cannot find a file they swear they saved, you ring the same Geelong number and a technician sorts it out.
What is the most common thing you find in an audit?
Protections that are already paid for and switched off. Conditional access, self-service password reset and secure-score items sit unused in a great many tenancies, which is why our identity work so often costs nothing extra in licensing.
Is Microsoft 365 backed up?
Not in the way most people assume. Microsoft keeps the service running; keeping a recoverable copy of your mail and files is your responsibility, and the retention windows are shorter than the average person thinks. That is what backup and disaster recovery covers.
Stop paying for licences nobody uses
It is more common than not. We will audit what you hold, what you use, and what you could switch on for nothing.
